Santos negotiated again with the right-back Lucas Blondel. The proteger belongs to Tigre, from Argentina, and was already in Peixe’s sights in 2022.
Last year, Peixe’s board of directors even met with the leaders of the Argentine club, who ended up not accepting the Brazilians’ proposal. Now, therefore, the talks have resumed. The information was initially released by the journalist César Luis Merlo and confirmed by Sports Bulletin.
The 26-year-old was revealed by Argentina’s Atlético Rafael. After standing out on the team, he moved to Tigre in 2020. Since then, he has played 84 games and scored seven goals.
Last season, Lucas Blondel added 44 games and four goals. Of these matches, he started all of them. Already this year, there are eight commitments, six of them as a starter. His last appearance for him was on March 18, in the 2-0 defeat against Arsenal de Sarandí.
If the negotiation is finalized, the winger arrives to fill a gap in the Santos squad. At the moment, coach Odair Hellmann has João Lucas and Nathan for the sector, but none have established themselves.
